Community Link ProgramYou Are Not Alone Community Link Program is a series of programs designed for older adults, disabled persons, or the homebound who live alone. The following is a list of services offered through this program.

Computerized Calling Program
This automated call program is designed to give elderly homebound seniors a sense of security and caring by ensuring daily calls are made to confirm their safety. If the phone is not answered, emergency contacts will be notified. Telephone Reassurance Program
The American Red Cross will coordinate and set up calling centers for volunteers to personally call the shut-in elderly.  The volunteers will provide current health and safety tips and help to identify impending crises for referrals or in-home visits. For more information call the American Red Cross (914) 946-6500 x 450 

Friendly Visits Program
Concerned, trained volunteers would make friendly periodic visits to seniors, disabled persons or shut-ins who live alone.
