Program on Senior Law Issues to be Presented in Rye

Leading attorneys will discuss wills vs. trusts and advance planning for health care and financial security at a free Senior Law Program on Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. at The Osborn, 101 Theall Road, Rye.

The program is presented by the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services and the Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services.

Introductory remarks by Steven A. Schurkman, Esq., a partner in Keane & Beane PC in White Plains and chair of the Senior Law Programs, will be followed by two workshops.

Salvatore DiCostanzo, Esq., from McMillan Constable Maker and Perone LLP in Larchmont will discuss “To Probate or Not To Probate – When to use a will and when to use a trust.”

Rita Gilbert, Esq., of Hyman & Gilbert in Larchmont will speak on “Take Charge: Advance Planning for Your Health Care and Financial Security.”

A question-and-answer session will follow. Refreshments will be served, and parking is free.
